Well what the New York Jets did on Sunday is at least 100 times worse than "Spygate". In fact, this incident could well be the most dishonorable and unsportsmanlike conduct in the entire history of the NFL (and I might throw in professional boxing as well). Not only should the entire coaching staff of the New York Jets be immediately fired, but some of the coaching staff should get some prison time as well.
One good thing that will come of this is that Bill Belichick's "Spygate" has been reduced to a trivia question that 20 years from now, will be the million dollar question because hardly anybody will remember it. On the other hand, entire books will be written about what happened last Sunday and the New York Jets will never be able to remove this stain from their organization.
Typical NY Bullcrap
gunners?
Rex Ryan and the Jets are a disgrace.
Ironically, I remember a sports quiz show many years ago that had as one of the panel members, Don Meredeth. They showed a clip of an NFL game against the Cowboys with a runner streaking down the sideline. A player on the Dallas sideline held a leg out in a feeble attempt to trip the runner - but missed. The question - who was the culprit. A sheepish looking Meredith held up his hand.
Thanks for the info.
That’s what they call the guys on the outside of the kick coverage unit. No I don’t know what the guys slightly closer in are called.
The gunners on every team are usually forced out of bounds. It is legal. Alosi is a reprehensible piece of garbage, that, in reality committed Battery on the player. The player consents to being hit by other players, not those on the sidelines.
