“If we do not follow the dictates of our inner moral compass and stand up for human life, then his lawlessness will threaten the peace and democracy of the emerging new world order we now see, this long dreamed-of vision we’ve all worked toward for so long.” — President George Bush (January 1991)

[The New World Order] cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the most significant single component. Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change it’s perceptions.” — Henry Kissinger, World Affairs Council Press Conference, Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel , April 19th 1994

Some folks need to be hung from the nearest lamp pole.

>>Actually come to think of it we’re both wrong. It’s 2/3’s of the Senators present.<<

So during Christmas vacation call 10 Senator back to DC. Take a vote and 7 say Yea. It passed and is noted in the Congressional Record. Done. No listings as to who the Senators were or any fine details.

Still thinking it’s kinda cool? Voice votes are kinda cool from a coward politicians viewpoint.

Time to hit the Major Alarm button?

That time was about 10 years ago. None of this has been really secret but anyone who tried to point out what was happening was hooted down as paranoid or worse. There have been plenty of instances of that right here at FR.

hedgetrimmer and I have caught a lot of crap over this subject. As we suspected, people will wake up when it’s too late.

Yep, those are the threads I had in mind, as well as some of my own. We Americans have become frighteningly complacent.

How many Divisions does the Secretariat command? :)

About as many as Lenin did at the beginning. Not uniformed, but enough to create violence in the streets.

How many divisions were behind the successful efforts to turn out the Communist government in Poland.

I grant you that it's a nice thought, but it doesn't fit today's situation. The trouble is 10s of 1000s of desk jockeys and bien-pensants, not 10s of 1000s of soldiers (at least not at first).

“Facilitative mechanism”: This mechanism would, for the first time, have given the UN he power directly to coerce and compel compliance on the part of its member states, by force if necessary. The Treaty draft describes it as –
“… a facilitative mechanism drawn up to facilitate the design, adoption and carrying out of public policies, as the prevailing instrument, to which the market rules and related dynamics should be subordinate.”

These delusional groups must have a source of funding to function at all.

What might it be?
How can we turn it off? What makes these delusional wannabe tyrants believe that they will ever see a cent in support from me, directly or indirectly? Or that they will ever be taken seriously by normal people worldwide who actuallu work and create wealth?

As for the hilarious "by force, if necessary," where are the UN retards going to find the military divisions to send anywhere to enforce their nightmares by force?

I hope they give us lots of advance notice so I can get a good supply of popcorn.

Since you posted missives numbers one and two, I was waiting for you to post number three!

I seem to have missed missives #1 and 2. Anybody have a link readily at hand?

How about sanctions against the USA as an environmentally rogue nation. Freeze assets. Refuse energy shipments. Reject trade. No visas issued from the signatories and no Americans allowed into their territory (not sure what they would call those territories if nation-states cease to exist).

If done incrementally, in less than 40 more years, it will be possible. Those who recall freedom will be dead or too old to matter. The majority of the West will be in energy peonage. Four entire generations will have been successfully and thoroughly inculcated.

They will not need military divisions, but if they do, the compliant former nations will simply pony up their own armies of *peacekeepers*, just as they do now. The Blue Helmets will be reinforced by the unionized, diverse and inclusive police and military of that dreary future. A military, BTW, full of committed young people who have known nothing other than this benign oppression and who firmly believe in all its lies.

It took 4 years of a socialist Congress and 2 years of an anti-American administration to bring this nation to economic collapse. Granted, the ground had been set beforehand and it really took about 60 years for the socialists to make the Long March Through The Institutions. Guns were not confiscated. No iron fist was revealed. It was done by the precept of “people want to be good” and the oppressors made certain to define *good* beforehand. Ask most people under 30 to define “being good”. They will parrot back the claptrap taught in the schools in every subject, woven into *entertainment* in every media and simply inhaled and taken in by osmosis in the vast fevered social networks online.

It won’t be without incident. Not everyone will go along quietly. But note from just our domestic history of the past 20 years how easy it is to use surgical force at the precise time/place needed to make the potential for mass coercion abundantly clear to the masses. Add in the propaganda and it is a done deal.

We are in an Interregnum, at the moment. We rallied and we pushed back and we won back some ground, some power and a bit of time. But there are fronts behind the visible battle lines and I am not at all certain we can prevail over time.

For perspective the current UN "budget", every two years is $5 billion but with all the various related mechanisms is closer to $14-$20 billion, biennially.

Imagine the trouble they could do with 5 to 20 times that sum: $100 billion! A good read on the UN budget process can be found here: U.N. Budget: Would You Believe $13.9 Billion?

Now that we toss trillions around, a few billion here and a few billion there seems unimportant in the grand scale of things but still as before "pretty soon we're talking about real money." ;-(
