One that wasn’t listed and HOW could we leave out...Frampton Comes Alive! My God...this album (8-track) was EVERYWHERE when I was doing my stomping. Anyway here is part 1 if you’re interested....part 2 is by part 1 on Youtube.

We all use to go to the river, build a huge bonfire and just enjoy music together. A few kegs were involved too! lol. That movie ‘Dazed and Confused’ really hit the nail on the head (mostly).

Anyway hope you take a moment to reflect because I’m guessing by the music we are from the same era. :)

I ran across this this morning, I've heard the version of this song but never saw the video....such an unlikely paring yet beautifully done...must have been difficult too.

David Bowie and Bing Crosby - Little Drummer Boy or Peace On Earth (High Definition1080p)

As an aside, Bing died shortly after this show was recorded, there is an interesting story at the link.

Wow thanks for posting this Outlaw Woman. We are on the same wave lenght because I was thinking about Frmaton Comes Alive and Do You Feel Like I Do going dang can’t believe no one has posted that also. Freaking awesome song. I go see this guy every chance I get because he can really rock it.

Here is Part 2 with that awesome guitar solo plus the voice box infamous line. Like you I remember this being played at a lot of parties. This song has such a killer groove plus a awesome pick up line for keg parties out in a field off a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. (I am pretty sure it is the only time a guy can get away with saying that with out getting slapped. LOL) :)

OMG...I glanced over that list and saw...BLACK OAK LOL...Jim Dandy to the Rescueeee!

Frampton Comes Alive transcends everything for me. I say that because when I ran across it immediately I went back to those days. Laughing with friends, ‘riding around’ cramming bodies into my VW Superbeetle LOL! Kegs, going to the river etc etc. It’s hard to fathom that so much time has passed.

Another good one...Turn the Page by Bob Segar...an exceptional composition (imho).

Thanks for the continuing list. Very impressive!

Thanks for all the "pings" LV Ron & Co. I see the great music continues.

Hope you will not mind my using your great thread for a little morning song dedication to a group of Freepers that have meant so much to us Reb's, our very own Coven. (I didn't bother to "ping" them. . . not really necessary, they always seem to find us.)

This is an old "Who" kicka@s version from the concert from New York.

Of course those of us from the glory days of the 60's and 70's miss young Roger Daltrey dancing around in tight jeans, but that's life and old Roger is ok. More importantly the group sounds great.

enjoy
