I've always liked Director Peter Weir's films. Master and Commander, Witness, Gallipoli. Even things I didn't care for like The Year Of Living Dangerously and The Dead Poets Society were still well done and stylish. Now he has this coming out in January about an escape from a Soviet gulag in 1940 (be sure to click on the link to the trailer below):

Then there is this little number from Director Kevin Smith. I'll provide the synopsis from IMDB but I'll be damned if I'm going to provide a link to the trailer. From IMDB: "A horror film in which a group of misfits encounter fundamentalism gone to the extreme in Middle America."
That's what they said after Jersey Girl.
Kevin Smith has always been to what his hardcore-Gen X Grunge/losers and now modern “holier-than-thou” Hipsters call: “A Douche”!!
“The love of God is a dutiful act of man, by which he knowingly and willingly prefers, before all other things, the union of himself with God and obedience to the divine law, to which is subjoined a hatred of separation and of disobedience. III.
The fear of God is a dutiful act of man, by which he knowingly and willingly dreads before all things and avoids the displeasing of God, (which is placed in the transgression of his commands,) his wrath and reprehension and any [sinister] inauspicious estimation of him lest he be separated from God.
Trust in God is a dutiful act of man, by which he knowingly and willingly reposes on God alone, assuredly hoping for and expecting from him all things which are salutary or saving to himself; in which we also comprehend the removal of evils.
The honour of God is a dutiful act of man, by which he knowingly and willingly repays to God the reward due for his excellent virtues and Acts.
The primary object of all these acts, as they are prescribed by law and are man’s duty, is God himself”

He claimed to have seen the classic Yeti in Himalayas.
Actually, it is suppose to be a slam against Fred Phelps and his bunch.
