Texas: Investigator of Reported Border Lake Shooting Is Killed

Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez of Zapata County, Tex., said Tuesday that the head of Rolando Flores, a Mexican police commander investigating the reported shooting of an American on a border lake plagued by pirates, was found in a suitcase outside a Mexican Army base. Sheriff Gonzalez said “reliable sources within the law enforcement community of Mexico” told him that Mr. Flores’s head was discovered Tuesday morning.

Not going to happen. Too much money to be made by a lot of people with open borders, and too many of those people have Congressmen and Governors on their speed dials. If Rick Perry gets elected again, I expect he will do everything possible to revive his would-be legacy of the NAFTA corridor.
