BTW, I don’t where your story is going but it sounds all to familiar and maybe you are trying to the story of a recently deceased senator from Texas, Reagan, Thatcher, Kirkpatrick, a certain Pope and Jack Wheeler but, the premise seems to well tread and easy to discover.
