Yeah...the Beatles and Elvis stunk. Bobby Goldsboro... now THAT was performer.

They were popular because they were different and “fresh” in a “Hope and Change” kind of way. The kids loved them because their parents hated them.
And that’s why groups with real talent like the Bee Gees, Michael Jackson, AC/DC, the Eagles, and Pink Floyd have clobbered them in overall record sales over the past 40 years.

yeah I never got the Beatles thing even though I remember screaming as a little girl when they were on the Ed Sullivan show....
Elvis?...I probably like him more now than ever...but not that much....

I never liked the Beatles either but if I'm in the mood to hear some 1960s music, I go right to "Red Rubber Ball" by The Cyrkle or "The Rain, The Park, And Other Things" by The Cowsills.
Now that's music!
