He would be jumping on the "political correctness" bandwagon to appease the liberal media.
No one is stopping "people of color" from being part of the TEA party movement, NO ONE. It's an open door and most have been welcomed so long as they are not toublemakers.
Actively recruiting "people of color" is what is wrong with a lot of places now; "color" is placed over "qualifications"...my example, barack obama.
What will be next it will be quotas so Ed Schultz and Olberman won't say bad things about the TEA party movement?
My take is, if we have to go out and recruit them to appease a troublemaking media, then we don't need them and let the talking heads shout "racist" all day long.
There have been black people at all of the TEA party events and even black speakers. So Bob Parks can shove his Affirmative Action TEA plans, no one is stopping "people of color" from joining. The TEA party is about taxes and ideology, not race relations.

If there are no minorities, the media meme is “monochromatic” and “lily white.”
If there are minorities, the meme becomes “tokens”, “Uncle Toms”, “minstrel show”, or worse.
Don’t play their game. You can’t win.
