Wow,
In 1939 there was a hurricane that went through here and stalled for 36 hours and dropped 19 inches.
5000 farm hands perished that night.
Port Myaka.

And hammered I did get.

Water in the yard but missed getting into the house by about a foot. There is now a jet ski in my yard.........I don’t own a jet ski. Water in the sheds and submerged my tractor.

Hell and it all happened in the wee hours of the morn’ while I was still asleep. Woke up, looked out the window, and damn near passed out when I saw what had happened in just a few hours.

I’ll post a pick later of the creek that cuts through my neighborhood. It usually doesn’t have but a trickle of water. The walls of the creek itself are about 5 - 7 feet high most of the way through the neighborhood. Went I took my kids to school this morning, the water was overflowing the banks into adjacent yards across the road. I had to take another way out this morning.

It’s unbelievable up here.

Oh and everything was a Coke. What kinda Coke do you want? I’ll have a Dr. Pepper.

That's funny - nice to see your sense of humor hasn't been dampened by the deluge...

Here are a couple of pictures of the creek that runs through my neighborhood. It usually has just a trickle of running water. The banks of the creek are about 5 - 7 feet high. So there's at least that much water and a little more since the water's washing over the road and spreading into adjacent yards. It was unbelievable this morning. It's down to about two feet of water right now.

I am just east of you and it keeps splitting and going around us. We’ve had some small showers, but nothing like you had. This afternoon, the wind picked up and the skies were almost black, then, it rained for about 45 seconds and moved on.
