Kelly Preston and John Travolta -- who announced they were expecting this past May -- are having a son, Preston's rep confirms to PEOPLE.
On August 8, the couple celebrated their happy news with some 40 close friends at a shower held at their Los Angeles-area home.

What I want to know is, is it “her” kid biologically, or were donor eggs involved?
Not that it matters to me, but I said the other night that it doesn’t impress me when a celebrity woman of almost 50 has a kid with donor eggs.
What would impress me is if they’re her own. What impresses me more is if it was NOT IVF and concieved the old fashioned way.

good chance she’s had a test to see if the baby is alright....the older a woman gets the higher the risk of abnormalities and we know the rich and famous want only perfect children....other than that, good luck to them...the world NEEDS more children..
