"My Name is _____ and I am an Islamophobic"
My seething mind | 23AUG10 | Moi

Posted on 08/23/2010 4:21:46 PM PDT by A_perfect_lady

I'm hearing a lot of voices rise up to declare that if you are opposed to the Victory Mosque at Ground Zero, if you are unhappy with the rising number of muslims in America, if you are wary at the thought of Sharia Law gaining a foothold in our court system, you are Islamophobic.

You know what? I'll just go ahead and go on the record as being OFFICIALLY ISLAMOPHOBIC. Yes. Yes, I am scared of those psychopaths. Okay? You got me. I'm busted. I'm scared of them.

I'm scared of people who stone 13 year old rape victims to death in the name of God. I'm scared of people who murder civilians because they think they'll be rewarded with 72 virgins they can rape over and over again. I don't get it.

I am terrified by the irrationality of people who demand that the world bow in the direction of Saudi Arabia five times a day, every day, for the rest of their lives... and then accuse the USA of "imperialism." I'm scared of people who think it's a good idea to saw the head off of a bound, blindfolded victim, tape it like a snuff film, and then put it on the Internet as a recruiting tool. I'm also scared of people who SEE this snuff film and think "Yes, yes, this is what I want to do with my spare time."

I'm scared of people who think women should be veiled from head to toe, and are prepared to punish them in ugly ways if the ladies do not comply. I'm scared of people who'll hold down a screaming six year old girl and slice off a part of her genitals. I'm scared of people who then think she's marriage ready.

I'm scared of people who celebrate when their child straps a bomb on themself, goes into a cafe in Israel, and explodes. I'm scared of people who'll strap a bomb on a woman with Down's Syndrome and send her into a market in Iraq.

So there you have it, people. Call me paranoid, jumpy, a bundle of nerves, but I am Islamophobic. If I had a choice between living near a mosque and living near an alligator farm, I'd take the gators, because I know them when I see them. I don't know if the quiet-looking guy on the bus is one of those "peaceful" muslims, or has aspirations of being the first successful American suicide bomber who knows that taking out a crowded bus in Los Angeles will be a recruiting tool for years to come in the land where sawing someone's head off is a GOOD thing.

I am Islamophobic. So sue me. Just don't tell those maniacs where I live.

I am not Islamophobic, because I am not afraid of the 7th-Century punks.

I would call myself Islamo-averse.

I do not fear the Islamic religion.

I despise the Islamic religion, I’m disgusted and repulsed by the Islamic religion, but I certainly don’t fear it.

islamophobia infers an irrational fear of islam. I have no such fear. I simply detest islam.

A phobia is an irrational fear. There is nothing irrational about fearing the insane murdering cult of Islam. It needs to be banned in the US and treated as a criminal enterprise.

Can't say I fear islam. Its a lie from the devil, and it enslaves people. There's much to hate, but not that much to fear.
I guess I would say that I 'fear living in a nation that believes it is better to appear "tolerant" than to oppose evil'. ...
Nah, that's not really worth fear either...
Both cases deserve pity, regret, and maybe a tinge of sadness ... but not fear.
So does that make me an Islamopitypartier?

“Kill all the Christians and Jews” is not the motto of a “Religion”.

Agree! Not only would I not be angry about being calling a bigot with regard to Islam, I would be proud! Islam is a death cult. No one should be ashamed of fearing and despising it.

I’m “afraid” they won’t stop until they get thousands of us killed in a pointless war.

It’s not so much ‘fear’ as it is ‘alertness’ and basic mistrust. It’s not bigotry to distrust islam and muslims in general, given the clear recent history. In fact, since they tell us that most muslims are peaceful and opposed to violence... then it’s up to them to show us how to tell the difference.

Phobic suggests an irrational fear. Well any fear of Islam and sharia is quite rational.

I would call myself Islam-averse, maybe even a hater. I hate the way Islam oppresses women, and for the reasons you detail in your post.

I try to direct my disdain towards Mo-ham-head and Islam itself, rather than the adherents, many of whom were raised in that bass-ackwards culture and probably don’t know any better.

But then it turns out that most jihadists are in fact educated in the west and do indeed know better, so I hate them, too.

Eff ‘em.

My point is, when someone calls us Islamophobic, instead of assuring them that we are not, we should go on the offensive and demand that they change, because our fears are justified.

Scared? In your own country? They are interlopers, usurpers.

From what ‘s been revealed in the last few days about how they intend to take over our country, we have to decide how to marshal our forces and eject them. Legally I’m not sure how we can do it,but we must find a way. Clearly they don’t intend to assimilate. Clearly they intend to overwhelm our way of life.

This isn’t tiddly winks, folks. This is for the future of our country. sd

The only thing to be afraid of is that the current powers that be will not permit good decent folk to properly address those who choose to remain sub-human.

Be wary wary scared...
sure they claim that our problem was Bush policies... but that does not explain the last 1400 years of imperialistic assault on western civilization. We can also look at it from an eastern perspective...
