Michael LaPayower really likes the song "California Gurls" by Katy Perry.
He's also a second generation Yankees superfan, having watched nearly every game since 1995.
When he combined these two elements, disaster ensued, as he created a Yankees remix of the song so ridiculous that it borders on surreal.
After his performance, he goes on to explain his ultimate fandom.
It is really something special -- enjoy.

I’ll bet this witless, pointless retard voted for Obama to boot!
William Hung better watch out. There’s a new performer on the scene.
It’s just kind of amusing that NESN has nothing better to write about than Yankees fans. Having trouble finding fans of your own?
Well, at least the headline was accurate.
Sellout streak of over 600 games, 2 championships in last decade (Yanks, 1)...and no Cotton Eyed Joe at Fenway.
(Though the tired Sweet Caroline is there in its place).
Some fans...
When a Red Sox fan does a video this lame, I’ll be sure to
post it, though.
So that’s what 35 year-old virgins do for fun.
And still it’s better than 90% of the crap on YouTube.

In their mom’s basement.
I'd prefer to have nude pictures of me show up on the internet, rather than something like that.
Would you email them to me personally?
As a baseball fan, I had to see a game in Yankee Stadium before they tore it down. It was okay - the A’s beat the Yankees - but the worst part was a whole ballpark filled with YANKEE FANS.
They say the new Yankee Stadium doesn’t have the loudness or atmosphere of the old one. How about when the Yankee fans
follow them on the road? The one time I went to Camden Years to see the Orioles, it was like Yankee Stadium South. The visiting Yanks won and it felt like I was in NY, not MD.
There are millions of bad videos. Most get at least one hit from their mother. You linked me to this and I wasted my time. I thought there was something more. But no, it’s claim to fame is simply that it is a bad video.
That’s pretty common.
Fascinating...I had the same experience at Baltimore a few years ago. I was there on business and caught a game...afterwards, my hotel was a freakin’ zoo filled with drunk, obnoxious Big Applers.
