Smil'n Bob Gibs described his comment about the "Professional Left" as INARTFUL. I googled it and found this two year old essay by Safire. I thought it was delightful and an appropriate comment on Gibbs' use of the word.

Actually, I was trying to imagine what a firestorm would have ensued had Bush or Palin used an “instandard” word like “inartful” for “artless”. I happen to like “refudiate”, btw.

Here's another good word (I think, can't find a definition for it):

The lexicographically unrecognized word was mantracized by the Obama staff The rate at which I learn new words dropped off considerable since Safire and Buckley passed.
