Did anyone catch Glenn Beck's radio show today (8/5)?

The biggest story of the past 24 hours (A federal judge throws out Prop. 8) and does Glenn start the show with it?
No.
He starts the show with Obama's father and the Kenya Constitution.
Would you believe he didn't mention it until the last segment of the last hour of the (broadcast portion of) the show, and that he devoted less than a minute?
Compare that with Rush, who opened his show with it, and spent 10 minutes talking about it.
Is Glenn afraid of the sodomites, or does he enjoy being number 3 so much he wants to stay there??

Mike Savage also claims number 3. Perhaps he and Glenn should draw straws.

Does the overturning of Prop 8 have any bearing for libertarians other than the issue of the majority of California voters twice voting same sex marriages down and their vote being cast aside by a gay judge?

I think Beck understands that the culture war was lost 30 years ago.
Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever heard him address the “culture” wars or the societal distortions.

Have you considered applying for a job as producer on the Beck show?

I turn off Glen Beck whenever:
1. anyone speaks in that falsetto voice.
2. any mention of 8/28.
3. any mention of his book.
As you can expect the radio is mostly off.

Most libertarians don’t believe it’s the government’s business to be involved in private relationship matters.
Seems like there might be some sense in that.

I think it's very healthy for conservative talk show hosts to not be in "lockstep with each other. There's plenty of material out there to piss each and everyone of us off everyday. If you're a lazy talk show host(shawn hannity), then I guess it would make sense to copy whatever the person that precedes you has just done. If you're a very hard working talk show host(Mark Levin), then you come up with something entirely different or use the same subject and expand on it where your predecessors didn't have time to get to or where they didn't have the insight to find.

No all talkshow hosts are the same - perhaps Glenn will cover this topic further on his tv show later.

Those “Tea Party” people he had on his TV show the other night seem to all decry any mention of social conservatism. Tea party Patriots won’t mention abortion or gay stuff. FreedomWorks is pro-amnesty. Just lovely where this is going.

I turned off Beckster for good a few days ago when he opened his show by again trashing JD Hayworth. Who knows what evil is going on behind the scenes with Beck?
