Go easy on ‘em.

Clearly, they were just stockpiling all that stuff because they figured they’d need it WTSHTF. You know, like the Mormons and survivalists and all.

I bet they got started saving for the Y2K catastrophe, and just never stopped...

All kidding aside, the hoarder mental state is fascinating.

Lord, I earnestly pray that I may never suffer from it. Amen.

I’m not sure hoarders is quite accurate. On those shows those deranged folks seem to save “EVERYTHING” - with lots and lots of paper stack up all over the place.

This place looks like some collector that didn’t know when to stop. But most of it is half-way in order. I wonder if those two guys from that TV show “American Pickers” might have hopped on a flight for this?

It looked like some worthwhile finds was among a lot of that junk. It is a bit sad to think that all of the “treasures” to someone are now mainly junk. Especially the house, which will probably get dozed for some University parking lot.

I’d heard there would be a great demand for Matchbox cars, 33 1/3 albums, and Star Wars memorabilia after all the computers crashed. ;)
