Remember Lisa always called Hooterville HooterSville. The name and Lisa’s version of it both HAD to be a joke sipped past the censors.
According to the Wiki article on it, they used numerous pigs to play Arnold. They all looked very different. On purpose to enhance the sense of unreality?

That’s the funniest thing I’ve read all week. Thanks for starting off my weekend on the right foot!
Eddie Albert was a bona fide war hero. I believe he was the XO on a ship (a carrier?) in WWII and led a firefighting effort that saved the ship after a Japanese attack. Great man, great actor. I also just saw him in the movie “Captain Newman M.D.” with Gregory Peck, where he played a mentally disturbed Army Air Force Colonel.
Her DOB has changed over the years, and there's conflicting info on that.
One date that is fixed, however, is that she was Miss Hungary 1936.
Eddie Albert was a brave man who earned a Bronze Star for rescuing a bunch of guys at bloody Tarawa, where he lost his hearing on one side from a close call
Prayers up for Zsa Zsa
It was sad when his character got killed in "The Longest Day." I'm sure that have to give him flashbacks.
I did not know that. Thanks.
Prior to World War II, and before his film career, Albert had toured Mexico as a clown and high-wire artist with the Escalante Brothers Circus, but secretly worked for U.S. Army intelligence, photographing German U-boats in Mexican harbors.[3] On September 9, 1942, Albert enlisted in the United States Navy and was discharged in 1943 to accept an appointment as a lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserve. A genuine war hero, he was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat “V” for his actions during the invasion of Tarawa in November, 1943, when, as the pilot of a U.S. Coast Guard landing craft, he rescued 47 Marines who were stranded offshore (and supervised the rescue of 30 others), while under heavy enemy machine-gun fire.[4]

obama sends his love, oh....and take your pill.
Series, get well soon.
Queen of Outer Space is classic sci-fi.
Army Intelligence..high wire artist..filming future enemy ships...pretty darn good actor...brave under fire
I remembered him being a combat medic..had that wrong
sorry guys, I guess the pic is disallowed??
He also played in a really good old movie about alcoholics with Susan Hayward, but I don’t remember what it was called! In it, his character was a (recovering alcoholic) trying to encourage S. Hayward’s character to quit drinking.
He also played a really funny role in “Oklahoma”, as a quirky character named Ali Hakim, a peddler who insisted he was a Persian. This was according to what he told a silly naive, girl character, “Ado Annie”! He was trying to seduce her, so he told her he was a Persian! There was a part where he tells her he’s going to take her to a certain hotel where upstairs was Shangrila, or paradise, (I’ve forgotten) she says “really? But I always thought they were bedrooms!”. It was hilarious!
He got himself in a couple of scrapes with girls, when he suggested he would marry them, and one of their dads forced him to marry his girl (Ado’s rival, Gertie) at the point of a gun! That was very funny too!
And to think I missed it!
Prayers for Miss Gabor’s health.
God Bless her, I didn’t realize she was even still alive. 93? She’s lived a nice long life.
I don’t know, Dahling...try it!
