A very skinny, mangey Great Dane or Dane-cross is my best guess, after saving & blowing up the picture.

There was another story about this here in San Antonio, but the pictured dog looked like a Xolo.

How sad that Animal Control is so uneducated they can’t help but accept the possibility that a mange-ridden or bred-to-be hairless dog could be a mythical creature! These are probably the same officers that call every mutt they come across a lab or shepherd mix, even when they look like chows, pit bulls, etc. Sad state of affairs when the people we rely on to identify breeds, provide a safe place for pets, and adopt to the right people can’t even do the simplest of tasks related to their very jobs.
