As some of you know, I have been predicting a really major eruption some time in the next 5 years as the end of what I have interpreted as an approximate 30 year period of intensified earthquake and volcanic activity on either side of the turn of a century. . I have observed this tendency for 1800 and 1900, and now again for 2000. [I have to go to work, but will try to put up more details later.] Also I see Katla for 1755. Check out the same date for the great Lisbon earthquake, and also the worst earthquake in Boston.
