America is a Christian nation.

Yeah? Well if this is Christianity, it's no wonder Islam is the fastest growing religion. Even those Muslim nuts recognize an abomination when they see it, and deal with it. - And not by appointing the debased perverts to be their religious leaders either!

Just take a look at post #15 above and see what America's so-called "Christian example" does to people.

This is as Christian a nation as Sodom and Gomorrah were Christian cities. And Abraham had to dicker with God over those cities, trying to find even a handful of righteous people so God would spare everyone there. How'd that work out?

So move to Saudi Arabia and live the example.

I recognize, acknowledge and share your anger, sadness and disgust with the mainstream churches. But keep searching and praying for a congregation and eventually, you will be led to one that keeps Christian values. It took me seven years of wandering until finally I learned of a congregation in another county. I dislike driving a considerable distance to go to church, but to hear the right messages it is worth it. Consider the pioneers in this country who had to hitch up the wagons and horses to travel over rutted roads once a month when the circuit-riding preacher was available.
