I don’t know about that. When I was in, failing the Army weight control standards was one of the quickest was to get booted. It actually kind of pissed me off because I remember more than a couple of hard working guys and gals that got sent home quickly while we were stuck with a bunch of worthless POS’s that were trying to get kicked out.
The Army doesn’t reward troublemakers who want out by sending them home but, God forbid a person have a bit of a weight problem.
