Saw a report on my local news Sunday night here in DFW area about this and it indicated the Big 10 was wanting to get several Texas teams to join them.
It would be very stupid for any Texas team to leave the Big 12 and go to the Big 10. Increased travel costs, loss of fan base for road games, loss of traditional rivalries, playing in harsh Winter conditions, etc. I think the Big 12 is set up just fine now, with an even number of teams in the North and South divisions.
I don’t think the Big 10 really wants a team like Nebraska, as their top dogs (OSU, MI and MSU) would probably become lap dogs. lol
