SEATTLE A Washington bounty hunter says an anonymous donor has offered $50,000 to a 19-year-old fugitive suspected in multiple burglaries across state lines and in Canada if he turns himself in by next week.
Everett bounty hunter Mike Rocha (ROACH'-uh) said Thursday that the offer is genuine: The money's been placed in the trust account of attorney James Johanson (Jo-HAN'-son).

Colton Harris-Moore, 19, who has been dubbed a "modern-day Jesse James" and whose notoriety has spanned the globe, is suspected in dozens of residential break-ins, as well as the joyride-thefts of several boats, small planes, and luxury vehicles. The crimes occurred mostly in Washington State, but also stretched into southern British Columbia and Idaho.
They ought to be offering $50K for a head shot on this punk.
The did a profile of this kid in Rolling Stone. He taught himself to fly using books and flight simulator programs then stole several planes, amazingly taking off and landing without killing himself. He also lives in an area that has many homes that are unoccupied for months at a time so he can hide out comfortably.

So, crime really does pay.
I regularly refresh the display of freshly spent cartridges on my deck as a warning not to come around here. His Mom lives just up the road from us. I don’t want him dead. I want the Legal system to work and make him pay for what he has done to our community.
