Hell, I’ve parted ways with immediate family over politics. Same thing happened in the Civil War. Same here. I've got brothers and sisters who have disowned me for being a conservative Republican.
My G-G-G grandfather fought for the Confederacy, while his brother served on the Union side.
It appears that this country is there again. If hostilities were to break out between the Red and the Blue, there's no question where I'd be.
