Good post.

Only racists are offended to consider the nationality as more important in a query than the race, then even challenge the ethnicity as being discernible from race.

You said he was an African..it is understood that he would have to be an American to be elected to the Senate of the USA. No matter how one attempts to spin it, it says that the person is an African. And of course that is untrue, if not not an African naturalized, or born in this country of one or both black African parents, then not an African, perhaps of African ethnicity, but a black American. AA is just a complete misnomer with as many definitions as there are individuals who attempt to use the label.
