The voice of Scar in the Lion King has spoken:
We must live more sustainably, he growls from Pride Rock as he probably doesnt call a single one of his seven homes, not even the pink castle in Co Cork, because in real life hes not a lion at all but a Sherborne-educated luvvie who takes himself very, very seriously called Jeremy Irons.
Increasing global population would put an intolerable strain on world resources, and the gulf between developing countries and westerners living a bountiful pie-in-the-sky existence must be addressed.
One always returns to the fact that there are just too many of us, the population continues to rise and its unsustainable, I think we have to find ways where were not having to scrap our effluent junk and are a really sustainable planet.
Natural systems of selfregulation may stop population growth, he said: I suspect therell be a very big outbreak of something because the world always takes care of itself.
The 61-year-old actor went on to speculate that either disease or war, probably disease, could become natures way of halving the population.
What is it about Greenies and their pervy yearning for the apocalypse which is going to teach us all a lesson for messing with mother Gaia? And what is it about people with seven homes? This is the same number as are currently owned by our terrifying new environment minister Chris Chicken Licken Huhne. Al Gore, the Prince of Wales and Zac Goldsmith have similar numbers, Im sure.
Could it be that sustainability is a concept one only truly understands when one has grown so incredibly rich that one is able to shelter from the consequences of ones eco-fanaticism in the seclusion and comfort of ones many agreeable homes?

YOU first, you dolt, Jeremy
Never trust a guy that lives in a pink castle.
And by “we” he of course means “everyone other than myself”.
Ping.
Spot on.
And there’s absolutely nothing Ironsic that the thread right above this one is about Germany’s birth rate hitting an all time low.
This actor loser who is destroying the environment through his lifestyle needs to reconsider adding his self to a compost pile. What an arrogant fool.
Entire cities don’t have the carbon footprint that this globe trotting actor has created.
Lighten up Jeremy. Geeesh!
He could eat insects, too. Insects are high in protein.
The tide will not turn until people understand this is not hypocrisy - it's psychological warfare. Leftists have discovered that if blatant, sabotaging, destructive lies are told in a certain way (which they've labeled "political correctness), the minds of their target population have an extremely hard time discerning the danger of their statements.
Viruses do similiar things chemically and biologically to the immune system. It is trivial for the human immune immune system to destroy any infection, even cancer, once it can see it.
So the real game isn't "fighting" - it's hide-and-seek.
well damn, only 6 more homes and I’m as sustainable as an actor.
Typical Elite!
Let them eat cake!!!!
and here he is on his property in Watlington, England:
Jeremy Irons is hard working actor who has earned his riches. He should not be laying a moral rap on “the little people” that is based on lies. An actor must be good at pretending. They get so good they fool themselves
