The Pit Bull went for the baby on the grandparents' farm in Pontevedra.
The father of a 23 month old baby boy who was killed by the family Pit Bull dog in the village of Pazos de Borbén in Pontevedra last weekend, has been charged by the Guardia Civil with negligent homicide, considering that he had not taken the necessary safety measures being the owner of a dog on the potentially dangerous breeds list.
Oscar R.R. had however taken out civil responsibility insurance for the animal, which is obligatory in Spain for dangerous breeds.
