My mom had her last kid at 40 in 1959....my friends have had kids at 45......YEARS AGO!!
My mother was 42 when she had my last sister. My dad was 62. From listening to older women talk about it there were not as many C-sections then either, even with breech births.
My grandmother had 9 kids, the last one was born when she was 47.
He was 93 this past February. Late pregnancy are nothing new. Friends of my parents were 50 and 53 when their youngest child was born.
