Why should a subpoena be required ?
Why kind of Commander in Chief refuses to release his entire birth certificate and hides behind two frightened Republicans ?
My son , now serving in Afghanistan , was required to bring an original birth certificate to his Army recruiter.
It’s beyond bizarre that a war time CINC refuses to do likewise.
My dog is a pure breed rescue from a puppy mill.
His papers have more detail than Barry’s.
I know the name of the veterinarian who was present at the delivery and the name of the puppy mill where he was born.
Similar birth circumstances remain unknown about the current POTUS.

I come from the position of honor and decency and doing what’s right.

And law enforcement in this country - including law enforcement by Republican arse-wipers - is a sad, sad joke.
That’s the point that people need to understand. Bennett is just as guilty as the people he’s covering for. And he wants Hawaiian sovereignty just like Lingle does - that delicious little carrot Obama dangles in front of them to counter the sticks of lost federal monies and lawsuits galore if they cross Obama’s will.
Anybody who is still using the “Since Republicans sign off on it everything must be hunky dory” argument simply has no comprehension of where we are as a country. Power corrupts, regardless of whether it’s a D or an R behind your name, and money can buy anything when a system is corrupt. If we don’t learn that, this whole self-governance thing is just a bad experiment that’s ready to blow up in our faces.
Miss Buttersworth ? all this law will do it keep this issue out in the open and no matter what they do , they can’t sweep this under the carpet.
I wish there was a way for other states to trow Hawaii out of the Union...
The Republican Party is AWOL on this issue. They don’t seem to understand that it’s a matter of the rule of law. Heck, they’re just now starting to figure out that people in this country are serious about the need to enforce immigration law - now that we’ve got states boycotting other states over the issue.
They just don’t get it. People like Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, and the Republican establishment still think we’re an embarrassing joke if we don’t want just anybody to be able to waltz into custody of the nuclear football without even having their bona fides checked.
The Republican leadership appeared to fight to keep the democratic leadership from breaking Senate rules, laws, changing locks to keep republicans out, etc while the whole nation watched in horror realizing that nobody is able to stop them from breaking the law at will. And STILL the Republican leadership doesn’t seem to understand that we are mad as he11 about it and are in no mood to tsk-tsk and giggle over the lawlessness all around us.
I’d love to see what you’re saying actually work. Ideally it would. I just don’t believe that the party leadership OR the conservative bloggers and talkers really get it on this issue. They don’t understand how completely we are surrounded by crooks, traitors, or sell-outs, even within our own ranks. They don’t seem to realize how totally corrupt and anti-American the media is.
What you said is probably exactly true. If a democrat is elected - ESPECIALLY Neil Abercrombie, who is almost certainly a big part of the scam of Obama’s supposed story - we can kiss any semblance of obedience to the laws good-bye, although there’s not much semblance of obedience to the law even now. But that point just shows that we need some other means of accountability. There has to be a way that the PEOPLE force government and law enforcement to obey the laws. And it can’t just be punitive, where we vote them out to keep them from doing ANY MORE damage. There has to be a way that we can STOP them from being their own mafia while they are in office.
It’s a serious issue that we need to find answers for.
