Don't tell Angie, but she actually made her Father proud today!
You go, girl!

Sounds like someone is growing up and realizing what is important in life...
She didn't go because on her weekends off she would rather spend her time helping those who really need it rather than sitting, drinking champagne and laughing at bad jokes in a fancy DC ballroom.

Alba is a fawning obamabot like Demi Moore. When I hear her talk she seems quite socialist, and she has hostility towards conservatives.
I really detest that type.

I’m starting to like Angelina, still can’t stand Brad Pitt though, still haven’t forgotten what that snot and his ex-wife Jennifer used to say when they saw Jenna Bush.

I always have the impression that she aspires to be something more than she is. I like people like that, generally speaking. I remember seeing her give a speech somewhere on CSpan, and I was impressed that her remarks were thoughtful, that she actually had something to say worth saying and she said it well.

Jolie has the rights and has been working on and off on a remake of Atlas Shrugged.

Only the desperate show up at these things ...thinking it will help them in their endeavors...or to be gawk at by the pols.
Jolie doesn’t need that garbage.

I think the jokes are pretty funny, but if true that gives her an even better reason to be proud of herself for not attending. Quite the strong-willed lady to give up what to others is a fun evening, and refuse the invitation of a U.S president.

It's just she is just someone who thinks your actions are more important than words. There have been several articles about her thinking that the Big O is all talk and no action, and one even saying that she was disgusted by him.
