I think the Asheville NC vacation will be in August, so the headline would be misleading. Who knows where they were heading in this shot?
But those tights just don’t seem appropriate for a FLOTUS at any time in public. Even if they are going on vacation, and even if she had the figure for it. There is a formality to the POTUS/FLOTUS during the time they are leaving the WH for Marine One and then AF1. She can dress appropriately for her position. Relaxed/casual is one thing. This outfit doesn’t cut it. She wanted the job, she can show the respect it deserves by dressing decently whenever she’s going to be seen in public. It’s not to much to ask.

He’s the President of the United States, flying aboard Air Force One - he should be dressed in a suit.
Sure, he should change when he gets there, but proper travel attire is a must.

If she stuck with one accessory color, this would be a vast improvement over other things she has worn.
BUT the hair. Someone please get this lady a great wig for when she doesn’t have time to straighten. Or a turban. Both would be an improvement.
I would do this, Larger top, some static guard, ditch the cardigan, blue purse, blue bracelets, large blue beads and blue turban. She would look pretty classy.
The leg spreading is absolutely ridiculous..bizarre!
She wears wigs. Not often enough. Black women wear wigs and look classy.
The tiny bun is an indication that she needs a straightening.
Her stomach is bigger than her boobs.
