Some may disagree but I say that professional athletes should be exempt from our laws.

You know how cattle are branded to identify the owner? Well we should have the logo of the professional team that the athlete belongs to branded on his right forearm. This way, he can be free to commit crimes and when the police come, so long as he is sporting the logo of say the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Chicago Black Hawks on his right forearm, they should just let him go.

This way, we can be assured that our favorite athletes will always be available to take the field at game time. Wouldn't it be a bummer if Ben Roethlisberger couldn't take the field over some stupid rape charge? Our Sunday afternoons would be ruined and we can't have that.
