A woman marries a man who was formerly married to some pornography skank. And then is surprised and hurt that he doesn’t remain faithful to her. His marital past plus other aspects of Jesse James was warning enough. I pity Sandra not because her husband cheated on her an her marriage is defunct but because she chose this mess.
This quote has been attributed to Roger Ebert, but I have no verification. A good’un, nonetheless:
“If you can’t trust the man who dumped his 8-months pregnant porn star wife to be with you, who can you trust?”
He sounds like a con man or sociopath and they can be very convincing. Could be he had some story ready how he really did not know what she did or hoped to reform her or some other BS. She might have thought he was a basically decent sort who got on the wrong path and she could change him.
