Figure $250 for the firearm (typically $299 with a $50 rebate right now), and $25/100 rounds for factory new ammo, $17/100 rounds of reloads.

I have been buying factory reloads from a very good suplier out of Montana; .45 ACP, 500 rds for $165, .40S&W; 500rds for $125. Good ammo...goes bang every time.
