Tiger has made a thorough and sincere apology, he deserves a bit of respect for that. I certainly admire what he just did, and I await seeing the change in him as the years go forward.
Damn, that was a terrible, robotic performance. He should fire the PR people he hired (assuming he followed their instructions). It was like the paper he was using said:
“To my friends, family, and fans..[count to 3, choke up, look down, count to 2, deep breath] I am SO sorry” and later on it read “Thank you [camera pans to Mom, Mom stands up, hug her for 30 seconds, go down the row, handshake, hug, exit stage right while putting hand on your head]
They actually have a helicopter following Tiger’s motorcade...All of this over Tiger humping hookers....Does any one else get it??/
There was something Clintonesque about his faked anger part. I was believing most of his apology until that point.
I hope he is sincere.

1) Not necessary.
2) Too long. 5 minutes would have been more sincere.
3) Not a drop of emotion, but that could be his normal personality. He is a stone cold competitor and that is good for the business he is in.
4) Too clever by half. Too perfect, hitting exactly all the right points in exactly the right order. Even portrayed himself (somewhat correctly) as a victim at exactly the right moment. Hollywood, not humility.
5) Apparently done solely for money since the real issues are being kept private as they certainly should be.

This is nothing but a SCAM, SHAM so-called “confession”; This totally controled, accepting NO QUESTIONS, “press conference” is just a lame attempt at salvaging the “Tiger Woods” brand. The only reason and purpose behind this “confession” is Tiger needs the dough, needs the sponsors, needs the cash, needs the moolah. That is what this is about, period.
