I love the show, he was one of my favorites. I can’t believe he was only 53; he looked like he was 60 plus.

My thought too...I was certain he was older than me. I wonder if the blood clot problem he had last year caught up with him.

Too bad, Captain Phil and the Cornnelia Marie helped make the show the success it continues to be.
RIP Captain Phil.

I love the show, he was one of my favorites. I can’t believe

I meet a broad spectrum of customers in my line of work.
You see folks that look like they’ve defied their chronological
clock (of aging)...and some that have accelerated their aging by
whatever means (stress, overuse of substances, overeating, etc.)

I will miss this guy on Discovery. He was a hard, hard worker.
And hope his children take his situation to heart and treat themselves
better than their hard-working father.

Only 53 years old, but what an adventurous and challenging life at sea. He did it his way.
