He is no, and never has been, a Sarah Palin. We know he isn’t conservative. But he is our best hope for stopping the headlong hurdle over the cliff into the chasm of communism. You take the victories that you can get and you work from there.
I believe if it wasn’t for Palin, this movement across the country would have never got to this boiling point. She gave potential canidates the thought that someone down to earth and honest could win. For goodness sake he openly stated that he believes in waterboarding and won in MA.
Here's my bottom line: Brown is allowed to be less than the ideal conservative, as long as he votes with the Republican team on the important issues, and stays away from Snowe and the rest of the "mavericks".
And while i have seen Freepers say there was a REASON that Sarah Palin didn’t endorse him, i heard her say herself last night on Greta, that she WOULD have, but he didn’t ask her to, and she figured that his going it alone was working for him, so no need for her to jump on his bandwagon. So that should put to rest any notions of freepers who think she withheld her support for him because he wasn’t conservative enough.
I would phrase it differently. I would say he isn't a Republican and that is what got him elected. He is an Independent running under the GOP flag, plain and simple.
Anyone running strictly on the fact that they are a Republican might as well save their time and money because the GOP is as disliked as the Liberals. They both have a big government and even bigger spending agenda.
For those wanting a third party, this is the way to do it. Bring your candidates into the GOP, become Independent and tell the party bosses to pleasure themselves!!!
Whew. That means he won't campaign for McLame then.
