Cocky Dem Coakley Goes On Vacation 20 Days Before Senate Election in Massachusetts

Talk about cocky… Democratic candidate Martha Coakley went on vacation 20 days before the election to replace Ted Kennedy’s seat in Massachusetts.

Meanwhile, Scott Brown traveled the state this weekend speaking to small business owners.

Where’s Martha? Why didn’t she put out a statement regarding the attempted terrorist attack by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab? She is on vacation with 20 days to go until the election. Does Martha already need the rest or she just the most cocky candidate in the Commonwealth’s history?

Martha did make some time for a couple of campaign items such as refusing to debate Scott Brown one-on-one. During this election, she believes that every candidate has a right to be heard. That belief does not really cut it when Martha previously refused to debate her opponent in 2006.

All the dems have to do to win is keep the election low key, low turnout, low publicity. Nobody will know much about her (sound familiar?)

The dems that go vote will vote party over ideology, and she wins.

With lots of publicity, lots of exposure, lots of noise, people that care about ideology and character might show up. Plus, she might say something that will turn people off (as opposed to voting party line).

So yeah she takes off!

Some in the Boston media are starting to refer to her as "Milk Carton Martha." Since winning the Democratic primary, she's pretty much dropped off the face of the earth. Apparently her campaign strategy is to go hide someplace and run out the clock. I really hope that Massachusetts voters can see through this ruse and elect Scott Brown - who actually seems to want to do some actual work as a senator. All Martha will do is hang out with the beautiful people on Martha's Vineyard and maybe do some snowboarding with our other do-nothing senator - John Kerry.

It must really be embarrassing to be a Massachusetts voter knowing that the vote is so rigged that they politicians don’t even pretend to court voters.

Could it be that she has internal polls and they show her 20-30% above Brown? I mean, if the election were in 2 weeks, and internal polling is showing a candidate that he or she is up 65-30% against the opponent, I would not blame him or her for going on vacation.

Sounds like Brown needs to haul out the cardboard cut out of Coakley to sit on a chair and debate... probably have a very stimulating conversation with the cut out better than the real deal..PLUS no democrat talking points regurgitated..

I wonder if the User has been removed by the “Powers that be”?

There are several other video hosting sites out there other than YouTube, which seem to be a little more resistant to political correctification.

I would encourage fellow dissidents to start using them in stead.
