To: fish hawk

I generally agree. Izaac Walton’s 1653 book “The Compleat Angler” popularized fly fishing in England. But Redford’s movie brought it to the American masses — which may be why our favorite streams are so crowded these days. Nothing wrong with that, I guess, but I sure miss those times of solitude with just me, the water, the beauty of nature and a wild trout I was trying to tempt to bite.

Check out riversofalostcoast.com (DVD) Fly fishing up in my country N.Calif and S. Oregon. DVD just came out recently.
