*soft chuckle* I think you didn't notice my post 50. I do indeed now share my life with a very singular woman. I wish to God we'd found each other thirty five years ago. We might have been spared much pain in life (and might, to be true, have spared causing pain to others along the way), or at least have been able to weather harsher times more powerfully together. But just maybe we went through those thirty-five years the better to savour and appreciate what we've found at last.

I'd rather have an evening home watching a good movie, listening to and/or dancing to good music, listening to old-time radio, reading to each other, or just cooking dinner together with her (and I'm not just talking about pitching in for her, we're both rather lively cooks and we turn a kitchen into a more romantic place than anyone else's night club, boudoir, or mountaintop getaway---no brag, fact), than hitting the hot spots with anyone else.

But I appreciate your concern!
