So how do they know she was a witch?
Did she float?
Did she turn the judge into a newt? (did he get better?)
Does she weigh the same as a duck?
Sounds like she was charged with NOT being a witch (i.e., a fraud).
But...what if her defense was that she was not a fraud, but indeed a witch, and could prove it. Is this a case of damned if you do, and damned if you don’t?
