I would rather people die or be poor than be forced to help them.

Sounds like a Democrat to me. You guys are the ones who answer poverty with stuff like Cabrini-Green. Heck, if you want to see what happens when the Dems get ahold of a kid and really help him out ina tough situation, check out Yummy Sandifer.

Being forced to help others is not the American way!

Dead on, baby. You see, there's this thing called "charity." It's completely voluntary, and Americans give more of their income (in dollars and percentage-wise) to it than the citizens of any country on Earth.

It's downright anti-Christian of the government to tell me I have to pay for other people's health care!

No, it's downright evil of the government to ruin the best health care system on Earth, and if they do it by stealing my money and jacking up insurance rates so working stiffs cant afford it and end up in jail* and screw the health care workers and screw up the actual care and point the rationing gun at the WWII generation first, that's pretty darn evil there, Skippy.

Besides, everyone knows that a public option can't work.

Oh, it'll work like a charm. It will do exactly what it's intended to do, make it virtually impossible for you to get employer-provided health insurance.

Why can't DUMBocrats get it through their thick skulls that it won't work?

Because they're dumb. Duh!

NO OTHER FIRST-WORLD NATION HAS EVER HAD A SUCCESSFUL GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH PROGRAM.

Now you're catching on! Hey, how do you like those six monnth waits for an MRI in Canada, and moms giving birth in elevators in Britain. Mmmmm, mmmmmm, mmmmmm!

Don't get me wrong, here. I'm not a Republican.

Do tell.

They're both two sides of the same coin.

No, silly, the Dems are the ones calling people Nazis, evilmongers and Klanners for daring to criticize a trillion dollar health care bill.

I mean, I've voted Republican in every election for my entire life, regardless who was running, but that doesn't

Well, generally that's a good call, because usually the worst the GOP has to offer is better than the best offered by the party of Bull Connor, Jefferson Davis and Jimmy Carter.

Oh, and nice use of the word "archetype." Somebody owns a word of the day calendar!

*You did know that the House bill puts people in jail if they don't purchase insurance, right? Downright Christian of Pelosi, ain't it?
