If that is your source I can't argue.
A few years ago I was involved in a, well, I guess it was a Human Interest event that should have been a minor local news story. Because a well known figure was involved, and because some local media wanted to sensationalize the story, slight misquotes were attributed to me and a spin from an entirely different angle was added. This new and improved if not exactly true version became an AP story that saturated news papers all acrossed the country and recieved even some minor interest in foreign media. Many journalists falsly reported having interviews with me which were usually reworded variations of things reported in the original jornalistic manipulations.
The "media" organizations that came closest to making truthful commentary were Rush Limbaugh, 103FM Los Angeles("The Arrow"?), The Daily Show with John Stewart, a local affiliate (Fox11 WLUK), and the National Enquirer.
