What's the difference between a hormone and an enzyme?
You can't hear an enzyme.
To improve detergents and the specific delivery of medicines.
An enzyme is a protein substance produced in living cells, influencing chemical reactions within plants or animals without being changed itself. Functioning as organic catalysts, enzymes help break down food so that it can be digested. The enzyme pepsin hydrolyses protein chains in the mammalian stomach to initiate digestion A hormone is a substance formed in the endocrine glands, entering the blood stream and affecting or controlling the activity of some organ, or of cells or tissues. Adrenalin and insulin are hormones. In plants hormones are carried in the protoplasm and act similarly. The difference between an enzyme and a hormone is due to the purpose they are designed to serve. Hormones control aspects of growth and metabolism such as the breaking of the voice and the development of musculature during puberty in males; and the regulation of the menstrual cycle in females. Enzymes mediate all reactions in cells, their structure and synthesis being determined by DNA.
Target rich environment but I won't take the bait.

Gotta luv it!!
(the news, not the hairy balls...)
How, exactly, would this be possible.
LOL
Cats are good at hacking up little hair balls....
A few years ago I was involved in a, well, I guess it was a Human Interest event that should have been a minor local news story. Because a well known figure was involved, and because some local media wanted to sensationalize the story, slight misquotes were attributed to me and a spin from an entirely different angle was added. This new and improved if not exactly true version became an AP story that saturated news papers all acrossed the country and recieved even some minor interest in foreign media. Many journalists falsly reported having interviews with me which were usually reworded variations of things reported in the original jornalistic manipulations.
The "media" organizations that came closest to making truthful commentary were Rush Limbaugh, 103FM Los Angeles("The Arrow"?), The Daily Show with John Stewart, a local affiliate (Fox11 WLUK), and the National Enquirer.
Well, as the article points out, “Moreover, enzymes are quite sensitive to changes in their environment such as temperature fluctuations and changes in the salt concentration or pH.” Apparently she believes you can “package” these enzymes so that they “work” when you want them to.
I wouldn’t touch a cat’s hairy balls with a ten foot pole!

No kidding? That’s interesting. Perhaps the N.E. isn’t all that bad after all. Hmm
