Estimate: How Many Americans are Working to Take our Country Back *Vanity*

How many Americans would you estimate are involved in one group or another in some way, shape or form to take our country back (i.e. FR, 912 groups, tea party goers, members of groups like ResistNet, etc.)

Well, yeah... Maybe I’m an eternal optimist hoping people are waking up and getting active.

We were just discussing at home and wondering if FReepers had an opinion on the percentage. Based on my own little world it is somewhere be between 5-10% of people I know.

For this you would need to imput of every large and small city. Just OKC alone, we had 7000 at the first Apr 15th tea party. Nov 4th, evening Tea Party Express rolled in, it was estimated around 2500 to 3000 people attended. Then there is Tulsa, Enid, and many other towns involved.

All across American people are revolting, to many to add up. MILLIONS???

In Texas, most of the Tea Party groups have combined to form “Common-Sense Texans.” Total number is about 100,000. A relatively small percent of the total population here, but remember—the war is fought at the ballot box, and 2010 will be very bloody.

I think more than that. I know a lot of people who talk our talk, but do not really get involved. Yet they still back what is happening.

3 million X 10 and those 10 x 10. It is much more than you think and growing, as those that have sat back get the courage to finally get involved.

I know one, my brother and his wife, finally got involved this year. They are so excited with the Tea Partys and will continue on.
