Could you possibly be any more of a whiner? You would have to try really, really hard. We are about to witness a huge win for a CONSERVATIVE, and you sound EXACTLY like Newt Gingrich. Quit the hand-wringing already. This is a slap in the face that the GOP desperately needs. So much better it happens NOW with just ONE race at stake, rather than happen in race after race in 2010, when it could cost dearly a shot at getting rid of democratic majority in Congress.

If the GOP is STILL too brain dead to get the message after this disaster of theirs, then they deserve to lose race after race after race. If conservative leave en masse it will be because the GOP failed to be a base for us. It would be a shame if that happens, but if it does, the sooner the better.
