Note I sent to my elected representatives today:
Dear xxxxxx,
NO GOVERNMENT OPTION.
No matter what it is called, government option, trigger, personal choice, opt out -- NO GOVERNMENT OPTION.
Please vote NO on the health care bill package President Obama is trying to push on America. We cant afford it and neither can the future generations.
My husband and I would like to see:
1. tort reform.
2. the ability to purchase insurance in any state.
3. the deductible (high or low) of our choice.
4. medical savings account.
Growing up in a low-income home, I do know that there are many options for people who cannot afford health care. There were then; there are now.
Thank you for reading this.
Cindy xxxxx
One more to add:
Portability via changing the tax code so that the benefit is no longer with the employer but the individual or family. This would even the playing field and eliminate "COBRA" all in one shot.
Greater government involvement means lesser personal freedom....ALWAYS!
Have all forgotten the works of Ronald Reagan from the early sixties to the late eighties?
ADDING to post no. 1...
...and another name..”Public Option.”
To be perfectly clear, NO PUBLIC OPTION.
Morning Homework finished,
Three emails sent (Senators - 2) (House - 1)
My Text:
Principle Before Party
The Congressional delegation from (state) works for (State), not for their party affiliation.
No Public option! No matter what it is called, government option, Public Option, Consumer Option, trigger, personal choice, opt out -- NO GOVERNMENT OPTION.
Please vote NO on the health care bill package President Obama is trying to push on America. We cant afford it and neither can the future generations.
My spouse and I would like to see reform in other aspects:
1. tort reform.
2. the ability to purchase insurance in any state (Competition).
3. the deductible (high or low) of our choice.
4. medical savings accounts.
This would be real reform The Free Market works every time it is allowed to function. Government intervention usually messes up the Free Market.
Well good job and thank you Dustoff45.
I appreciate your efforts.
