They are generally different species in different caves and even different species in the same cave at different locations.

And - let me guess - they're all endangered.

Ha.... In so far as I know, there are no efforts to preserve the habitats of rare cave beetles.

The habitat preservation efforts, that would be providing cave entrances with barred gates, are for the protection of endangered bats.

Ordinary cavers are barred from these premesis. Only the elite cavers are provided entry.
