You’re going to watch football after what happened to Rush?

NCIS no question. NCIS LA needs to shape up pretty fast or it’s going to lose the audience it’s getting from NCIS.

NCIS. Absolutely. The spin-off is nowhere as good as the original. The humor, the interaction between the characters and their obvious enjoyment working together, make the original series top notch. In our house, we watch the reruns on USA Network nightly, and after the original runs on CBS on Tuesday we switch channels or go online. We’ve not watched the second show after viewing the first two in the series.

Hubby is a big fan of the first one. It is centered more around what they do in reality then the LA spin off which is more “Hollywood”.

Side note: He works with an NCIS agent that he calls Dinozzo just to piss him off. Although the show is drama, his job would be so much easier if NCIS could at least complete their investigations with in a 6 month period. They work their own speed.

Are you kidding?

NCIS, of course.

I mean, the new LA version is good, but they are still working on character developement and building the relationships.

NCIS is like family. Every character knows the others and works well together. The writers and actors have done a fantastic job with the series.

The new show needs stronger writing a character development. The actors and actresses are doing a good job. They are not developing the story in the realm of the military enough.

I quit watching "NCIS Los Angeles" because of that ridiculous old bag that was in Kindergarten Cop. I was disappointed that they did not keep the female agent that overlooked Gibb's revenge on the one that killed his wife and daughter in the spin-off episode of NCIS.

The ruined the point of NCIS Los Angeles,... two separate but intertwines series.

I agree and am giving the new series every benefit of the doubt, but what I can’t get by is their work area..it looks more like a resort of some sort rather than an NCIS “office”..

I’m trying, but not succeeding very well..

Yep. When they had the two teams working together in Hollywood as a "prequel", and McGee got all excited over the IPhone type display they were using, I thought "Oh, no, don't bring this to the original. Happily, thus far they haven't.

BTW, I bought my wife a new Dell netbook a few weeks ago. It arrived on a Wednesday, which happened to be her day off, and the day after we'd both missed an NCIS episode the previous night. I got the netbook set up and wired into our home network just before dinner. Over dinner, she was saying how she missed seeing that episode the night before, and I told her how she could watch it online at the CBS website. No sooner was dinner cleaned up, and she was in her chair with her new laptop fired up, watching the previous night's show saying "This is fun!".

I’m sitting here waiting for the baseball playoffs. Sheeez the World Series should have been decided three weeks ago. This is nuts.

NCIS definitely. The stories and characters are better, and you just can't beat Gibbs as a character.

We returned for the second episode just to see if it improved any. It hadn’t, and the characters are just too ‘glitzy’. So, we’ve not been back.
