Between taxes and my job and my tendency to become nauseated at the very mention of the name "Obama," I'm thinking of taking up pounding my head against a wall just to take my mind off of it. Otherwise, I'm doing just great. < /sarcasm > Just went to my sister's wedding a couple of weeks ago. My cats keep me entertained, computer games keep me mentally numb when I'm not at work and I occasionally try to find a little adventure now and then....if I can be extricated from the house, that is.

So, very glad to see you here. You've been missed by one and all.

Well, mostly I'm doing my best to adhere to my tag line. :) Especially since I hit a major rough spot, healthwise, over the summer. I'm so very grateful for my really excellant doctors. Since then I've been shamelessly indulging myself with lots of lovely travel, spending time with fun people, good friends and family. Enjoying life to the best of my ability and to the extent any enjoyment is possible given the damage being done to our wonderful country.

Sometimes, in the interest of self-preservation, I simply have to stay away from the news. Its too disturbing and unsettling. Sometimes I succeed and at other times.... well, its an ongoing conflict. I gather you've been practicing some of the same survivor tactics.
