Great article! But I think someone over at AARP slipped up and allowed this article to be published. Someone forgot to take their meds.

With the help of ignorant masses a hostile force has taken over the government of the United States of America and is in the process of destroying the country. Sounds like a fiction thriller?... Fact is its true and happening right here right now.

Pray for America and against the forces of darkness

If this is the same thing I got via an e-mail the other day, Snopes has discounted it as not being written by Dr. Kaiser. (they contacted him).

(http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/proportions.asp)

I think on Snopes Dr. Kaiser, when contacted, said many of the views in the piece are opposite of his.

I’m hoping this fear is our friend, a motivator.

Hey Mr. Kaiser, we have too many people who are ‘afraid for their country and afraid for their children’ and not enough people who are ‘angry about their country and angry about the future for their children’. I file your article under the “Captain Obvious” column. The key is whether enough people will stop wringing their hands and start getting actively involved, and by active, I mean with force. Somehow, a son of a diplomat who went to Harvard doesn’t strike me as one who will join the fight, so I guess we’ll do it without you. You can write about us, though.

The link actually takes you to a forum page of AARP. I agree with others. Somebody has slipped up in allowing this on the website.

I have a choice:

.....I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust);

.....I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades;

.....or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me..

I choose to believe the evidence.

Bump.....because he is right.

Well I’m am not all of those things and I have the same fears. We are truly living in dangerous times. This craziness must stop if we are to survive. If a major change does not start in the next election it will become really scary because change will then only be possible through means must avoid. Just look at what almost happened in Honduras (it may yet). Seems that the dark clouds are gathering as a rapid pace.

I'm afraid too! That's why I marched on Washington on 9-12.

DC better be afraid....because next year, we are coming after every politician and booting them back to their home states, for good.

Exceptionally good article, and good to see it associated with the AARP — the man’s not preaching to the choir there.

I too fear for our country as I see the US Constitution being gutted by Obama. He is about to sign over US sovereignty in a climate bill. He has assaulted free speech by gagging insurance companies from telling the truth about Obamacare and maintaining a White House snitch list. He has sought to control the press and other media. He has ruined the economy with crippling debt. All of this has happened in less than a year into his first term. I shudder to think how things will look in 2012. We could well be living in a socialist police state.

“Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten to fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two. “

Everyone feels it. No one knows what is going on, but everyone I know feels this undercurrent of something HUGE.

A really good read. I for one am trying to look into why people are reacting this way to Obama or other leaders in the world who think like him and it may be something to consider when we attack the beliefs that lead them to follow.

1. A lot of people really do believe in Man made Global warming
2. We are in a financial crisis and people are looking for someone to save their bacon.
3. We are at war with radical Islam bit most people are scared of that idea so they want someone to tell them otherwise and that they can fix the problem.
4 Most people have little or no idea how to critically think and so are sucked in by sob stories and so become pro-gay, pro-choice etc rather than thinking about the consequences of their support for these things.

If I was in these people's shoes I would be sh#t scared too. Thankfully I have learned to think a little more critically and am not sucked in by the media etc. Therefore I believe it is my job to help others see the flawed thinking and get them to crossover. I can't/won't attack people on all fronts so I am focusing totally on Climate change - if I can get them to see that as a fraud then hopefully they will open there eyes to other things.

I am no Politician or great thinker but if I and you, each of us, can change only a few people's minds then it will be a mighty achievement and may be enough to turn the tide.

Cheers

Mel

I don’t care who wrote it or who published it, it is true and it’s a warning. I’m passing it around.

...advocating gun control...

A historian should know that "gun control" was pretty much complete in the Weimar Republic and helped pave the way for Hitler. Once the state had a monopoly on violence the armed troopers abused that power and terrorized the populace. SS were expected to shoot those who verbally disagreed rather than dirty their hands in an arrest. Hitler was the result of gun control, not the cause.
